Tre'von Adams, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 20, 2019, in Lafayette, Louisiana. The incident occurred late Sunday night when Adams was shot to death inside a car on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The Lafayette Police Department responded to reports of shots fired around 7:30 p.m. and found Adams with multiple gunshot wounds inside the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
