Mya Vimal Patel, a 5-year-old girl from Shreveport, LA, tragically lost her life on March 20, 2021. Mya, who was of Indian descent, was playing in a room at the Super 8 Motel owned by her parents, Vimal and Snehal Patel, when a bullet entered the room and struck her in the head.
