Tammy Sheree Williams Harris, a 48-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on May 4, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Tammy was a companion to Fate Winslow, a man who had recently been released from Angola State Penitentiary after serving 12 years of a life sentence for a $20 marijuana sale. Winslow's life sentence was vacated in December 2020, and he was re-sentenced to time served, allowing him to walk free. Unfortunately, their newfound freedom was short-lived.
