In the autumn of 2007, the life of Andre Stoner, a 28-year-old African-American man, was tragically cut short on a street in Boston. On the evening of October 17, 2007, police responded to a report of a person shot at 3 Esmond Street. There, they found Stoner suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene, and his death was later ruled a homicide by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
