In the early morning hours of Saturday, April 27, 2024, the life of George Deeble Jr., a 42-year-old Black/African American man from Dorchester, was tragically cut short. At approximately 4:44 AM, Boston police officers from the B-3 District in Mattapan responded to reports of a person shot in the area of Blue Hill Avenue and Fremont Street.
