Tyrell Hines, a 29-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 15, 2021, in Hammond, Louisiana. Tyrell, also known as "Pipe It Up," was a resident of Hammond and was well-known in his community. His death was a result of a single gunshot wound, which occurred in the 1300 block of Smith Square. The Hammond Police Department responded to several reports of gunshots being heard in the area and discovered Tyrell Hines with a fatal gunshot wound upon their arrival.
