Lance T. Gilmore, a 22-year-old African American male from Greensburg, Louisiana, was found dead on August 6, 2021, in East Feliciana Parish. His body was discovered inside a vehicle that had been abandoned in a ditch off of LA 10, east of Clinton, near the Amite River bridge. The East Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office responded to the scene after receiving a call about the vehicle.
