Javoris Debouse, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 12, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the Cedar Grove neighborhood, where Debouse was shot multiple times while sitting on the front porch of a residence on West 64th Street. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
