In the late summer of 2021, the community of Campti, Louisiana, was rocked by the violent death of a local man. Rickey Lane "Cotton" Caskey, a 56-year-old male, was killed on August 31, 2021. His life was cut short by an act of gun violence, a tragic event that prompted an immediate response from local law enforcement.
