Kendrick T. Lewis, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 3, 2021, in New Iberia, Louisiana. The incident occurred outside the Sneaker House, a shoe store located in a strip mall at the intersection of S. Lewis Street and Admiral Doyle Drive. According to reports, two men exited a car, and at least one of them opened fire, resulting in the death of Kendrick and injuring three others.
