In the early morning hours of a Tuesday in September 2021, the life of 19-year-old Tommy Carson Jr. was tragically cut short in Jeanerette, Louisiana. The fatal encounter unfolded around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Church and Pellerin streets, where Carson was shot. The Iberia Parish Coroner's Office later identified him as the victim of the homicide.
