On November 16, 2024, Jamul Sparrow Jr., a 23-year-old male, was found shot to death in a vehicle on St. Charles Street in Jeanerette, Louisiana. The Jeanerette Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the 1900 block of St. Charles Street and discovered Sparrow's body upon arrival.
