Born on August 21, 1983, George "G5" Finney was a native of New Orleans and the eldest of two
children. He was a proud alumnus of John McDonogh High School, where he had been a member of the school's band and football team. His sudden death left behind a loving family, including his children, his brother, and a host of relatives and friends who mourned the loss of a man described as deeply loved.
