In the early morning hours of September 29, 2021, the life of 31-year-old Marcus Cook, a male resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was tragically cut short. At approximately 2:12 a.m., authorities responded to reports of a shooting in the 1200 block of South Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered that Cook had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident marked another act of violence in the city, leaving a family and community to mourn a life lost.
