On the evening of April 24, 2021, a young man's life was cut short in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Carlton Phillips, a 21-year-old male, was discovered inside his vehicle on North Donmoor Avenue, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds. The initial investigation by the Baton Rouge Police Department pointed towards a possible drug-related motive for the tragic event that unfolded around 8:00 p.m. that night.
