On February 25, 2023, James Evans, a 48-year-old man, was found deceased behind a residence in the 900 block of Progress Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) reported that Evans had suffered gunshot wounds and was discovered around 8:19 a.m..
