On Christmas Day in 2021, a dispute in Monroe, Louisiana, escalated into a tragedy that claimed the life of 41-year-old Fransqwur Eugene Harris. An African American male, Harris was a graduate of Wossman High School, where he had been active in varsity football and track and field. He was an employee of Frontier Railroad Services and was a father and grandfather.
