James Worthy, a 74-year-old man from New Orleans, LA, was shot to death on January 15, 2022. The incident occurred in the 6200 block of Curran Road in New Orleans East. According to the New Orleans Police Department , the investigation began shortly after 11:30 p.m. when a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency Medical Technicians pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office later identified the victim as James Worthy.
