William Mitchell, a 36-year-old male from Metairie, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on January 17, 2022. He was fatally shot in the living room of his home on Rosa Avenue, alongside his roommate Jonathan Pizzuto, 39. The incident occurred while the two men were playing video games. Cody Labranche, 30, of Ponchatoula, was later identified as the suspect. Labranche held a grudge against Pizzuto, blaming him for the death of his sister who had overdosed in the same residence in July 2020.
