In the early hours of February 21, 2022, a burst of gunfire shattered the night on Chef Menteur Highway in New Orleans, claiming the life of 22-year-old Ricardo Ledesma Soto. Police responded to reports of a shooting and discovered two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Ricardo was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
