Amya Mone’ Cornin, affectionately known as Mya, was a 21-year-old African American woman who tragically passed away on March 21, 2022, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Born on August 26, 2000, in Marrero, Louisiana, Mya was the daughter of Renata Michelle Loya and the late Ronnie Cornin Sr. She was survived by her mother, stepfather Malcolm Jones, nine brothers, and four sisters.
