Lavar Manuel, a 43-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 28, 2022, in Lafayette, Louisiana. The incident occurred at his residence on Guidry Street, where he was found dead by the police following a welfare check. The authorities discovered that Manuel had been involved in a domestic altercation with his live-in girlfriend, Destiny McAfee, a 22-year-old woman from Longview, Texas.
