In the early morning hours of June 4, 2022, a tragic incident unfolded in Des Allemands, Louisiana, leading to the death of 19-year-old Trent Byerly. Byerly, a male, was one of four individuals traveling in a silver Honda Accord on WPA Road. According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office, Byerly was handling a firearm inside the vehicle when it discharged, striking him in the chest.
