On a late Sunday afternoon in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of Deonte Veal, a 24-year-old male, was abruptly ended. On June 5, 2022, at approximately 4:17 p.m., Veal was shot and killed at a residence located at 3124 Winnebago Street. When officers from the Baton Rouge Police Department arrived at the scene, they found Veal, who had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
