Willie Robinson Jr., a 56-year-old African American man from Kaplan, Louisiana, was found dead on the night of September 6, 2022, in Rayne, Louisiana. The Rayne Police Department responded to multiple calls reporting gunshots at the intersection of Bailey and West C Street around 11 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of Willie Robinson Jr. at the scene.
