Death by Force

Blake Jones, a 24-year-old male from Rayne, Louisiana, was tragically shot on July 22, 2017. The incident occurred in the 500 block of North Marie Avenue, near West A School Street, just before 2 p.m. Blake Jones sustained a single gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Lafayette General Hospital, where he was placed on life support. Despite the medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at 8:24 a.m. on July 23, 2017.
