Lieutenant Allen “Noochie” Joseph Credeur Jr., a 48-year-old White male, tragically lost his life on May 5, 2025, in Rayne, Louisiana, during the execution of a search warrant. The incident occurred around 1:27 p.m. in the 500 block of East Harrop Street, where officers were attempting to locate a suspect involved in a recent stabbing. During the operation, Lieutenant Credeur was inadvertently struck by gunfire from a fellow officer, resulting in his immediate death at the scene.
