In the late summer of 2022, the life of 32-year-old Jermaine Colston of Lafayette, Louisiana, was tragically cut short. On September 6th, what began as an ordinary day ended in violence when Colston was found deceased in a parking garage in Shreveport. The discovery was made in the 100 block of Lake Street, where responding Shreveport Police officers were met with a grim scene. Colston had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
