A dispute that began in the digital world tragically spilled into reality, leading to the death of 22-year-old Daniel George in Metairie, Louisiana. On the evening of Monday, November 28, 2022, George was in the backyard of his family’s home on Academy Drive, spending time with his two-year-old son, when the sound of gunfire shattered the night's quiet.
The fatal shooting was the culmination of an ongoing online feud between George and a teenager.
