In the late summer of 2024, the community of Metairie, Louisiana, was unsettled by the discovery of a local man's untimely death. Tory Jackson, a 44-year-old male, was found deceased on August 14, 2024, in a field located on North Elm Street. The Jefferson Parish Coroner's Office later confirmed that Jackson had sustained at least one gunshot wound.
