Corey Carter, a 46-year-old African American male from New Orleans, LA, tragically lost his life on December 23, 2022. He was fatally shot in the 2700 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard in Central City, New Orleans, at around 8:00 p.m. The incident occurred during a double shooting, where another man was also injured by gunfire. The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office determined the cause of death to be a gunshot wound.
