On September 17, 2023, a homicide occurred in the 3700 block of Garden Oaks Drive in New Orleans, Louisiana. At approximately 12:03 p.m., officers from the New Orleans Police Department's (NOPD) Fourth District responded to a reported shooting. Upon arrival, they found an unresponsive male with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. The victim was declared deceased at the scene, and the incident was reclassified as a homicide.
