In the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, a 21-year-old African-American man named Curtis Jarvis was shot and killed on September 15, 2010. The incident occurred at 27 Cameron Street, where police responded to a report of a person shot. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner later determined that Jarvis's death was a homicide.
