In the Grove Hall neighborhood of Dorchester, on the evening of September 15, 2018, Patrick Sales, a 29-year-old Black man, was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 8:10 p.m. outside of 500 Blue Hill Ave., where he was reportedly shot multiple times. Responders rushed him to a local hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
