On October 7, 2018, a tragic incident occurred in the Mattapan neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, resulting in the death of Karim Blount, a 42-year-old resident. The incident took place in the early hours of the morning, around 2:30 a.m., at 18 Mildred Avenue. Boston Police officers responding to a call for a person shot found Karim Blount suffering from gunshot wounds.
