Birmingham police released the identities of three men found shot to death Monday in the Smithfield community.
Police said 35-year-old Willie Washington, 24-year-old Johnny Griffin and 24-year-old Korde Turner were shot while they were sleeping in a house in the 400 block of Third Street North.
The home the men were in was abandoned but family members said Washington was living there. Turner and Griffin would often stay with Washington.
