Death by Force

On April 25, 2022, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Birmingham Police officers responded to a vehicle collision in the 8300 block of 4th Avenue South. Upon arrival, they discovered a car that had struck a tree, with 19-year-old Jomorion Gordon inside, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service transported Gordon to UAB Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
