On February 4, 2013, 29-year-old Curtis L. Mosley, an African American male, was fatally shot in his apartment at 1101 E. Colorado Avenue in Urbana, Illinois. At approximately 8:30 p.m., an unidentified assailant forced entry into the residence and discharged multiple gunshots at Mosley. He was promptly transported to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, where he succumbed to his injuries.
