Jordan Atwater-Lewis, a 17-year-old African American male from Urbana, IL, tragically lost his life on December 29, 2021. He was found with a gunshot wound to the head on December 28, 2021, in the 1600 block of Hunter Street. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, he succumbed to his injuries the following day. The investigation revealed that Jordan was involved in a feud between local gangs, which ultimately led to his untimely death.
