Martez Taylor, a 27-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on July 21, 2018, in Urbana, Illinois. The incident occurred after a fight broke out at a party near Florida Avenue and Curtiss Drive. According to Urbana Police, Taylor was sitting in a car when he was shot.
