Issah Musah, a 46-year-old African American male from Urbana, Illinois, tragically lost his life on April 11, 2021. Musah was reportedly letting out a dog for a friend when he was shot by an unknown assailant. The incident occurred in the afternoon near South Webber and East Fairlawn Avenue. Urbana Police responded to a shots fired report at approximately 4:39 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Musah lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the back of his head.
