Kristian D. Philpotts, a 29-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 12, 2022, in Urbana, Illinois. Philpotts was working as a Lyft driver at the time, striving to save money for veterinary school at the University of Illinois, a dream he had nurtured since childhood.
