Ramar Bonner, a 40-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on May 17, 2013, in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 8:05 p.m. when police were called to the 200 block of North Mayfield Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Ramar Bonner with a fatal gunshot wound to the back of his head. The unknown gunman fled the scene on foot immediately after the shooting.
