Keayon Brooks, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 11, 2017, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred near a bus stop on the southwest corner of Division Street and Lamon Avenue, close to the Youth Connection Charter School (YCCS) West, an alternative school for students aged 17 to 21.
