Demond Parnell, a 34-year-old male from Chicago, Illinois, tragically lost his life on July 21, 2014, in a shooting incident in the Edgewater neighborhood. Parnell was found unresponsive on the sidewalk in the 5200 block of North Kenmore Avenue around 9:55 p.m. with a gunshot wound to his chest. Despite being rushed to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, he was pronounced dead at 10:24 p.m.
