Darius Pirtle, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 21, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. On the evening of September 21, Darius was sitting in his car in the 8200 block of South Indiana Avenue when an unknown assailant opened fire, striking him in the head.
