On October 5, 2024, Timothy Fulton, a 26-year-old man, was shot and killed in the Gresham neighborhood on Chicago's South Side. The incident occurred around 10:58 p.m. in the 7900-block of Ashland Avenue. According to Chicago police, Fulton was in an empty lot when someone started shooting. He was shot twice and was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
