Dejean Parrish, a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on April 17, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. Dejean was a student at Morgan Park High School and was fatally shot during a drive-by shooting in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood. The incident occurred in the 7500 block of South Lafayette in the Englewood neighborhood on Chicago's South Side. This drive-by shooting also left two other individuals injured, who were fighting for their lives following the attack.
