Marcus Walker Jr., a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 2, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Old Town neighborhood on the North Side of Chicago. Marcus Walker Jr. and his companion, Tavion Matthews, 22, were driving westbound in the 100 block of West North Avenue just before 6 a.m. when they were ambushed by individuals in another vehicle.
