What happened to this all-star soccer player?
Kabiru Adewunmi, a 16-year-old rising soccer talent from Chicago, was killed on April 26, 2011, as he walked with friends in the Chatham neighborhood. Originally from Nigeria, Adewunmi had been in the United States for less than a year, pursuing a soccer career after securing a spot on a youth team affiliated with the Chicago Fire.
